PURA VIDA SPANISH LESSON INFORMATION

What to Expect:

In the first 2 months, most students will read, speak and write in basic Spanish. Once there is a sufficient foundation, a portion of each class will be dedicated to conversations, questions and answers. Early topics will include greetings, house items, food, animals, colors, numbers and time.

My goal is an adaptive teaching approach by assessing the individual student's needs and creating an effective lesson plan while ensuring proper grammar and pronunciation during each session. My classes are dynamic, challenging, and stimulating. After a brief grammar explanation, we will do oral exercises for understanding of the words and pronunciation.

Duration:

Classes are typically 90-Minutes, once or twice per week.

Location:

Your choice! In-person in the DFW area at your Home, Office, a Coffee Shop or your place of convenience.

Online:

Online lessons are conducted with Skype, Zoom, or Teams from anywhere in a virtual classroom. We will converse in real-time and work on your pronunciation, grammar, sentence structure, reading and conversational skills. All you need is a reliable computer, speakers and a microphone.

Student Proficiency Levels:

Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

  • My goal is for students to have basic conversation using present, past and future tense, express personal needs, and learn how to communicate: time, numbers, days, months, colors, seasons, directions, weather, prepositions, as well as how to read and write in Spanish.

Weekly Study Time:

Minimum suggested study time is two hours per week on your own.

Class Pricing & Payment:

  • $65 for 90-minute online classes or more depending on travel.

  • $15 for each additional student up to 3

  • More than 3 students, pricing will be determined.
